Russell Bedford Strengthens Position In Angola

Global professional services network Russell Bedford International adds re-launched Angolan firm, RBA - Auditores & Consultores, Lda. to its Sub-Saharan Africa region.

Based in the capital city Luanda, the full-service practice has until now operated as a branch of Russell Bedford’s member firm in Lisbon.

The newly restructured practice in Luanda, led by tax specialist Carlos Florêncio, focuses on accounting, audit, tax consulting and business advisory services. The firm also supports foreign investors attracted by the projected return to growth of the Angolan economy.

Speaking of the appointment, Russell Bedford CEO Stephen Hamlet said: “This is yet another fantastic development for Russell Bedford’s position in Africa; an area where we have achieved consistent expansion in recent years. RBA has demonstrated great determination and diligence in developing into the firm they are today, in only a short few years, and I congratulate them on their full member status.”
